Telling is the story of how sun met the moon,
cordial in gesture, disavowed through purity,
synchronicity is happenstance in reverse,
I put my foot on the pedal and reverse.

Sun shines all day long in Cali,
shores stretch along the foreboded sea,
glass etched in sand, granules beneath the feet,
ensconced in particulates settling at…
