Heart keys
Timing is forsaken, we will take off the burdensome masks;
they are antiquated,
it’s not worth the wait.
Ships on this vast indigo ocean cater to our inner wounds,
we tend to the storms in each other,
if we get lost in the grief it doesn’t matter,
I will carve out your light through my bare hands.
I will calm your body after the nightmares,
sensations surpassed their stay in the living self,
calm my body, you can calm my body.
But I can’t love you if you don’t take the chance,
turn the key that’s been bending,
allowing salvation to liquify your honey.
Why don’t we open it now,
the twisted metal from attempts at unfolding,
locks unspoken, jagged and sharp,
they keep their tales inside; what occurred is their beholding,
this heart key, open it fully, liquify the golden honey.
