Tides

John Lautermilch

Tides of change every morning a new baby scent
or lingering scents
last night leftovers

last night’s leftover emotions, vibrations, sensations too,
one must wake up waking up under covers too
semblance of normality in the waking of up’s
tides of change every morning a new scent.
